I'll overwhelm 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
